Every year around the time of the Kanto Festival, I return home and extend my stay in Akita City by doing a workation. The facilities are so good, and the price is incredibly reasonable. It's wonderful. I hope it doesn't disappear. I'm thinking of returning to Akita in the future, and the thought of being able to work and live here doing my Tokyo job makes me really hope it doesn't disappear.
Although it's located in front of Akita Station, it's convenient because you can get a parking discount even if you arrive by car. There are only a few other users, so it's relatively empty and you can work in a space that suits you. There are no restrictions on usage time, so you can come and go as you like, and it's easy to stop for a meal or shopping along the way. It's easy to find power outlets, and the provided WiFi connection speed is no problem. There is a call box, but it seems that you don't necessarily need to use it, and some people make regular calls, so if you're sensitive to other people's voices, it might be best to avoid it.
It was very convenient as it was directly connected to the station. The interior was also innovative and stylish. I was able to work efficiently there.
This coworking space was created by knocking down the space equivalent to two movie theaters. It has good facilities, a quiet environment, and reasonable prices, so I highly recommend it.
My First Coworking Space Experience To put it simply, it was amazing! If you're serious about studying, paying to use this place is absolutely the right choice. 6 hours for 1000 yen (now 600 yen) is incredibly cheap, and you can even park in the multi-story parking garage for 300 yen! If I had to mention any downsides, it would be that there was someone who kept talking non-stop in a remote meeting (let the other person talk too!), and the receptionist was so beautiful and incredibly kind that I wanted to go and check on her every now and then during my study breaks. I would definitely like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
