Never did we expect a good four-course steak set lunch for less than $50 in Orchard area. Not to mention that the fries and salad are refillable! The nice slab of 300g Australian Black Angus Ribeye was tender and juicy. Meat was warm pink, right how we wanted. We added a Grilled Octopus to our meal and no regrets - the smoky charred skin was so fragrant and the meat was not rubbery at all. Succulent and tender. Do top up $1.50 for the Hokkaido Milk Cheese Brulee Cake with ice cream! They generously served a big dollop of vanilla ice cream and the dessert tasted heavenly good - imagine a layer of crispy caramelized crust on top of the rich velvety cheesecake. Despite the convenient location, the restaurant is rather quiet during weekday lunchtime. It was a little hard to get the attention of the staff as there were only 2 to 3 serving staff and they hardly walked around. The restaurant is quite big and spacious but maybe because of the floor to ceiling glass windows, it was rather warm.
My friends and I had our post‑Christmas gathering at Armoury Steakhouse – Orchard Central a week ago, and it was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the warm ambience set the tone for a festive evening. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure our group felt well taken care of throughout the night. The food was the highlight — beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. All the food we ordered were cooked to perfection, tender and flavourful, while the sides and starters complemented the mains perfectly. Every dish, from the creamy mushroom soup to the grilled salmon, showcased quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation. The drinks were equally impressive, with creative presentations that added a fun touch to the celebration. This was the perfect place to gather, laugh, and enjoy a memorable meal together. We left feeling full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Armoury Steakhouse has truly earned its reputation, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great dining experience in Orchard Central.
Pretty good place in a neat location to get a steak in the Orchard area. Good views outside of the city. The steak was good but all of our steaks were overcooked. The Mac and Cheese was really good, but was disappointed that it was made with cheese sauce. Found it interesting they serve steaks with fries, but the fries were actually the best thing here. Fresh, hot and crispy.
Not sure why my Reservation on the website did not register, and staff could only seat our party at a inner booth. However, they were really helpful in moving us to the window seats once available, checking in regularly if we were happy for our seats. Food-wise - had the A3/4 Wagyu Ribeye (Japan) Medium Rare and it was amazing! The Australian Black Angus Ribeye was a little tough and chewy. Had sharing sides like Mashed Potatoes, Mac and Cheese, and the Asparagus, those were so-so not bad. The Molten Lava Cake was so good, will come back just for the dessert. However, we mentioned to the staff that it was for a birthday celebration and they forgot, so there wasn't much of a surprise :(
A weekend lunch at Armoury Steakhouse in Orchard Central surprisingly quiet for a city centre location, and the menu holds its own comfortably against the surrounding competition. We ordered two steaks, A5 Wagyu and Australian Ribeye. The A5 Wagyu was the undisputed star; perfectly cooked, effortlessly tender, and that signature melt-in-mouth richness that reminds you why it commands a premium. The Australian Ribeye, tasted side by side, inevitably suffered by comparison, noticeably chewier against the Wagyu's buttery texture. In isolation though, it's a genuinely solid, well-prepared cut that would satisfy on any other table.
