Every dish we had were sooooo good. It’s a cosy izakaya with a hidden section, it filled up quickly on a Friday night . Reservations recommended. Only counter seating which is good for 2 / 3 / 4. LOW TEMPERATURE CHICKEN LIVER between this and pate, we had wanted to choose the pate but asked the chef and he said this is better. The temperature was cold and the onion relish was so refreshing, it was perfect. SEABREAM CARPACCIO very fresh and the truffle dressing is truffly oomph. MOCHI TOFU ODEN This is in the 3 of a kind set and so glad we did this ala carte as it’s a big piece, the soup was so good I finish it all. Love it. CRAB CROQUETTES this is a huge piece and very filling. Actually two can share a piece , very delicious My gf took me to celebrate my birthday here and they gave a scoop of ice cream w a candle and it was so nice that everyone in the cosy restaurant sang birthday song for me. Would return to try the sweet shrimp shiokara.
Nice cosy izakaya place. The izakaya has two sections each side housing about 8-12 people so it makes each section rather cosy and the intimate. Reviews here are accurate. Order the crab croquette, tuna egg yolk roll and I think one item people missed out is the red wine pork. God the red wine sauce comes out really well and it goes well with the rice that comes with it.
Very cozy and quaint izakaya that's tucked away. Absolutely loved all the oden dishes, very clean but tasty; each has its own unique favour, instead of being just one note. Especially loved the asari clams, it's a must have. The only thing that i was disappointed in was the hamburg steak with truffle mash potato. It was quite bland with quite a small portion - not the typical hearty and meaty type that i was expecting.
Very fast service , with true izakaya feel. This place has 2 sections , a quiet section and a more lively one . I enjoyed the selection of drinks , especially umeshu soda. I will definitely come back again due to the service and authenticity as well as ambiance
I like the food and the atmosphere... The curry udon is the best👌🏻 The sashimi is fresh and thick. The chicken liver wow.
