Apollo Coffee Bar

This place has been on my to go list for ages and today finally got to try. Saw on IG that they have recently renovated. They have an outdoor area when pets are welcome. We ordered the Stockpot Chicken and Spicy Pig Focaccia. The broth of the Stockpot Chicken was very tasty and the Focaccia has quite a kick as it contains mala sauce. The coffee were very good as well.

Wow superb food in a cafe. Esp the piang piang noodles. I didn't know what to expect but oh my, I was blown away by the noodle texture, it was thin and chewy, coated with just the right amount of Chinese mala taste. I couldnt stop thinking about the noodle. The chicken karage was alright but the noodle was the star. We ordered also the burger with fried chicken. Ok, this was superb too. The chicken is juicy nice thigh meat. Fried very well, maintains it's tenderness. It was big! Really a super filling meal. The coffee was pretty good too. I found out later that the cafe is owned by the same people who owned atlas in bukit timah. The coffee beans used are the same and nice too. Will go back again for the biang biang noodle !

The coffee was well made, balanced, and clearly handled with care. You can tell they take their beans seriously. Service stood out in a simple but thoughtful way. Water was served automatically without having to ask, which is something surprisingly rare these days and very much appreciated. The overall experience felt easy and comfortable, with attentive staff and no fuss. A reliable spot I would return to for a good cup of coffee and pleasant service.

Fantastic food as usual with friendly, polite and attentive staff. On weekdays the cafe is quiet enough to do some work while having a cup of coffee. Surprisingly although it is a self order system via QR code, Kai noticed that I'm always around and consistently ordering their Rosti. Their Rosti is the crispiest, non-soggy Rosti around and I've yet to find one better than theirs that is consistently good. On ocassion, I'll order a V60 iced pour over and the coffee is also consistently good, aromatic and skillfully brewed. All in all, good work Apollo team!

The French toast with cream was absolutely superb, really fluffy, light and not overly sweet. the rosti with egg and sausage was delicious as well. We paired the meal with a long black, which rounded things off nicely. Overall, a really enjoyable experience, and we’ll definitely be back. Very family-friendly environment too.
