I have to say this was an absolutely terrible experience on the Ambassador overnight cruise. The manager could not speak Vietnamese, yet no Vietnamese-speaking staff were allowed to assist us. The attitude toward customers was shocking—there seemed to be no regard for guest satisfaction at all. It felt as though their message was simply: “If you don’t like it, go take another cruise.” My husband is a director of a travel company, and we have encountered all kinds of hospitality staff over the years. However, this was the first time we have ever come across a manager like this. I genuinely cannot understand how a 5-star cruise would allow someone so unprofessional and poorly qualified to manage an entire vessel. The service was poor. The food was poor. The management was poor. In particular, the manager was truly, truly awful—rude, disrespectful, and lacking even the most basic standards of professionalism and education. In the heart of the beautiful Ha Long Bay World Heritage Site, there are many other 5-star cruises that offer far better service than this one. If you are going to spend your hard-earned money on a cruise, please do your research and choose one that is worthy of your investment. Do not waste your money only to be treated with disrespect and insulted by the cruise management.

We had an absolutely beautiful two days, one night experience with Ambassador Cruise, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ha Long Bay. The food was very good throughout the trip, the staff were lovely, and the room we stayed in was excellent with a stunning view overlooking Ha Long Bay. Everything was comfortable, clean, and very well organized. The service was truly top-notch. A special mention goes to the manager, Belle, who was exceptional. She handled all the announcements professionally, gave very helpful advice to guests, and constantly made sure everyone was well taken care of. She walked around the dining tables checking on guests and ensuring everyone was comfortable and enjoying their experience. We would also like to mention the Operations Manager, Jason, who was equally exceptional and provided outstanding service throughout the cruise. Overall, the entire experience was very, very good, and we would definitely recommend Ambassador Cruise to anyone looking for a memorable Ha Long Bay experience.
