Altitude Tuition Centre @ Marine Parade ( Pri/Sec/JC Math, Science and Economics Tuition)

Wanted to say a massive thank you to Mr Yap and the Altitude Tuition Centre team! My son's (Duncan) Math and Science journey was a total turnaround thanks to you. He aced both! We tried a bunch of other tuition places but nothing clicked till we found you. Now he's got confidence galore and both his fave subject! Thanks for making learning fun and for caring so much about your students. A good teacher makes ALL the difference! #Grateful

My son has been with this tuition centre for tuition for more than a year for physics, maths and chem As his grades did not improve in all tests /exam for physics and maths, I am concerned as a parent. Mr Yap called to speak to me as to give me feedback to better understand what happened. During the call, he highlighted that my son ,”have you realise or maybe my son has special needs?” I believe this is what you are thinking about my son and that is why you mentioned it. It is really unprofessional and lack of empathy for the students. I was shocked and saddened that a tutor would say that instead of suggesting ways to help and make him improve. My son does not has special needs and he performs relatively well for the other subjects (not with this tuition centre). Apart from chemistry. Do you know what is special needs? Do you intend to say ADHD? My child is a normal child and the words from the centrE ultimately disappointed me and I am disheartened. Although the tutor subsequently apologised, I am very disappointed with this centre. FYI my son pass his Maths exams EOY and score A1 for chemistry .

I just wanted to say a big thank you for all the help and guidance you’ve given to my daughter. She used to really struggle with Math — we’ve tried so many tuition teachers and centres, from one-on-one sessions to big-name group classes, but nothing seemed to work. I actually stumbled upon Altitude Tuition Centre out of desperation, and I’m so glad I did. Thank to your teaching my daughter. She is now thriving and so much more confident. Math has become her best subject — from barely passing to getting A’s! I’m sure she’ll really miss your class. I’ve honestly never heard her say she had fun in a tuition class before. Thank you once again, Mr Yap for caring about your students and helping them reach their potentials. I believe that a good teacher can make a big difference!

I’ve been attending the chemistry lessons here for 2 years, and I’ve never once fell below an A2. Ms Chan (the teacher) and the other teachers are all really inclusive and welcoming, and I don’t feel afraid or awkward to ask questions. I can also communicate with them with ease. Also Ms Chan’s teaching is really detailed and well thought through, I understand the concepts taught easily, and I am provided with enough revision materials. Overall experience here is definitely an 11/10

altitude tuition has helped me a lot, especially ms chan and mr yap. ms chan is a rlly patient and kind science teacher. she clarifies any concepts i don’t understand and ensures that i understand my topics. mr yap is very encouraging and also teaches math with clarity and humour. the teachers are rlly nice, i highly recommend this centre :))
