So much wok hei in the fried kuey teow with lots of crispy fried pork lard cubes. Love this much! The pork and chicken satay were juicy and we loved the satay sauce, must order at least 10 sticks per round. Overall, really good food
Certainly better late than never, the Cheong Fun & Char Kuey Teow here's worth braving the tropical heat for, once in a while. Choose cloudy days or later part of the year as the heat is like walking in Bali in the middle of town in the little red dot!!
Went for some char kway toe around the lunch time and the place was quite empty. The place inside is very old but under a relatively new chef. The flavour was quite good, we got the dark one, one with chilli and other without. The chili flavour was negligible but char on the noodles was quite good, kind of what one would expect from the dish. Definitely worth a try if you are in the region.
I’m surprised how small my $5.50 shredded chicken with century egg congee! It’s my first time in my life paying $5.50 getting such small portion of congee. I ordered a portion of carrot cake too and the container is same size as mt carrot cake 🤣🤣. Never going to go back … too pricey
Great vibes and really good affordable food. Service is good despite no service tax.
