An overdue review on this outlet but still a dependable spot with a cosy, old-school pub charm. Dropped by on a rather quiet Sunday lunch, which felt slightly unusual, but made for a relaxed and unhurried experience. The ambience, with its warm lighting and classic bar setup, continues to be a strong point. Not my first visit, and certainly won’t be my last. A reliable haunt, even if this particular visit was a little too quiet for its own good.
Everything taste great here,. We were wow by the superb service. Staffs were friendly and helpful and it made the dinning gexperices even more enjoyable. Dolly the manager help us to take photos. Loved the piped in music alot too.
Wow - how this place has fallen. We used to visit regularly and this is the first time for 5 years. I can not believe how slow the service is, one hour waiting for food (and not arrived yet - we asked for the bill and it wasn’t included so seems it never was ordered), the food quality has really dropped. Sauces taste mostly like cream, hard to finish. Such a nice venue but what had happened? Staff are very pleasant - but….
While on a date night, my beautiful wife and I stopped in for a bite. We ordered “The Troublemaker” which consisted of four different sausages, a lamb curry with some bread slices, nachos, salad and fries. Two of the sausages were quite nice. One a peppery, lightly smoked, one was more a bratwurst, one I’m not sure and it was just kinda OK, and the last nothing more than a foot long Frank. All good though. The nachos had a wonderful guacamole and cheese sauce. It could have used a bit more jalapeños, but that’s just my own desired spicy preference. The lamb curry was very tasty. Very tender well cooked meat and a delicious curry sauce that was so nice spread on the bread slices. Not much to say about the salad and fries. Pretty usual fare. The service was good and atmosphere very good. It was quite easy to carry a conversation over the background music which by the way a good popular playlist. Price was as fair as any other mall restaurant. Enjoyable dinner and I would return again.
Great place for affordable drinks and food, quality of food and service is above expectation for the price. A bottle of 12 years scotch for hardly $160, beer for $13. Go with your friends and make it a regular spot.
