Achevas A-Level JC H2 Math Tuition (Jurong)

joined achevas mid j1 out of fear that i couldn’t cope with the h2 math syllabus. i still faced difficulty in earlier topics and couldn’t do questions without referring to notes. however, within a few months i could do questions without referring to notes as they helped me to understand the concepts. hence, i could do the math questions with ease. achevas helped to build a strong foundation in h2 math which allowed me to clinch an A in the A levels. i also feel that the lesson plans in achevas is super well done because they would pick out commonly tested questions for prelims which helped make my revision super effective such that i could allocate more time for my other subjects.

Thanks to teacher Jack for making H2 Math easy to understand through detailed step-by-step explanations. I struggled heavily with topics such as vectors before he helped explain it to me in an easily digestible and concise manner. Jack also provided plenty of tutorial questions and challenging prelims with numerous interesting questions to do, especially nearing A-levels. And of course, thank you to G, the king yapper and muay thai GOAT for making every lesson a fun experience. Both G and I got an A for H2 Math, and it is not without the help that this tuition provides!

Before joining Mr Ng lessons, I did not know how to revise for school math tests and felt that the school lectures were too fast paced for me to learn the content properly, causing my results to waver. I was first attracted to Achevas by watching their free crash course on vectors on YouTube which really helped me gain confidence in one of my weakest topics, motivating me to join achevas as I really liked their lesson structure that was most useful to my learning. I most enjoyed the vast resources that I could gain access to, including the concise summary notes for each topic which really aided my revision, and the questions gone through in class were really well selected from past year papers such that they are commonly tested in examinations, ranging from routine questions to challenging ones that could possibly come out, which made my A Levels math examination feel like a breeze 😁, helping me to have the confidence that I would have and did score A for A levels. Thank you Mr Ng!

Wasn't planning to study for my A Level Math since I had been consistently scoring S, and joined Achevas as a last-ditch effort to save my grades Mr Jack is an incredibly motivating and experienced teacher who explains concepts clearly, and made me want to try to study and do well for Math! The summary sheets are concise, and very informative (Includes tips that school doesn't teach!), and all the worksheets are intentional and targeted at students' common weaknesses. All of these helped me achieve a final grade of A in A Levels even though I only joined in June!

Mr Ng’s lessons were really helpful and engaging, which allowed me to understand the content easily and apply them to the worksheets given. There were also many resources that I could rely on in the website if I wanted more practice or clarifications, which helped me to get an A in math.
