Very happy with service from Donatas at ACE Handyman Services. He was able to assess the issue with the door quickly and finished in a very timely manner. He was very professional as was the ACE representative. The company had great customer service and was very upfront with estimates and efficient with scheduling. Overall, a very positive customer experience!
I had a couple of items on my list to be done around the house like hanging up coat rack and fixing a closet. I decided to go with Ace Handyman services. One thing I love about their service is they sent a picture of who is coming to do the work. This is so I know exactly who to expect. This was a nice touch. Rigoberto arrived on time to the house. After I explained what needed to be done, he promptly got to work. When he finished the first task, he asked if I could take a look to see if the work was satisfactory while he moved on to the next item on the list. He was quick, efficient and the quality of work was excellent. I would defiantly use ACE Handyman and ask for Rigoberto again.
I’ve used this company a few times but the latest experience and outcome were very disappointing. I was quoted approximately 2–3 hours for day one and ~2 hours for day two. The final bill came in at nearly $2,500. Key issues: Only one technician was present for most of day one, but I was billed as if two were there the entire time. They said the other technician went to get the cement and supplies which apparently took about 3 hours. Also not sure why the technicians didn't arrive prepared with supplies. Labor hours significantly exceeded the estimate with no communication. It took double the time that was originally estimated. Trip charges were applied per technician, which was not clearly explained. They did apply a partial discount after I raised concerns, but the final amount still didn’t align with what was originally discussed. They also acknowledged that the overage should have been discussed beforehand. Work quality was average, but the billing and communication were not good at all. Below is the initial estimate that was provided via text: "I spoke with our technician, and we've determined that this installation requires a two-person team. Because of the weight of the hoop and the precision needed to stabilize the post in fresh concrete, two people are necessary to ensure the structure is safe and level. The project will be completed in two visits: on the first day, we will dig the footing and pour the concrete, which then needs to set for at least 24 hours. We will return for the second visit to fully assemble and mount the hoop. Our current rate is $125 per hour, per person, plus a $65 trip charge per visit. We estimate 2-3 hours for the first day and approximately 2 hours for the second; however, we only bill for the actual time spent on-site, so we will adjust your final invoice accordingly if the job is completed faster than expected. Please note that starting March 16th, our rates will increase to $135 per hour and a $75 trip charge, so we encourage you to utilize our current pricing by scheduling before then."
Romer Feliz did a great job fixing a number of small repairs. He was courteous, communicative and professional
Enael and the helper showed up on time for the job of installing a new drop down sink in my kitchen. The job required them to cut out the area for the drop down sink into my counter. The finished prjoect turned out really good. They worked hard and did a great job.
