I got the beef udon set lunch while hubby tried the ala carte wagyu beef don. He didn’t like it as the beef was too heavily marinated with Teriyaki sauce. My udon was better although I think the seasoning was too high handed to taste the natural flavour of the beef. My set came with a salad, 2 gyoza and a hot tea. His came with a free appetiser and miso soup as a weekday special.
Nice and clean environment, tables are well spaced out so everyone has ample space. Staff is friendly and very helpful; service with a smile indeed. Food is awesome, the pork and roasted chicken combo is unbelievably succulent and flavourful while the beef is tasty and loaded with juices, not to mention food is served within 20 minutes and come in good portions. An absolute enjoyment.
Very good place to eat. The grilled chicken with the lime puree is very nice. Wagyu beef is normal but it is good. A bit on the expensive side but there are a lot of options to choose from. Will definitely go back for another dish to check the other menus. Second time here and was satisfied with the dishes I ordered. Still very good!!
Although the buta don looks exactly like the one at Paragon Outlet, the flavor was very different. This version seemed to have a lot of starch added and barely any char-grilled taste at all. Hmm… pretty disappointed.
Went to this outlet for the first and last time, last Sunday (20 April 2025) and bruh the plant based meat is just NOT it. It was also the only vegetarian option they had for mains. It was so dry and since there was no other condiments to go with the rice, it tasted so plain. I think they don’t realise that unlike real beef where it’s juice will flow into the rice, plant based meat won’t and it was just a dry and rubbery thingy on top of plain white rice. There is an obvious lack of thorough thought process behind this dish. My friend got the normal beef bowl and it was salty. ALSO they forgot about my tea until halfway through my meal I flagged the waitress and she just said okay and went to get my tea, placed it on the table and walked away. No apology or anything? We didn’t get any side dishes and the total bill was $50 for 2 people. 😒💀 We should have just went to Swensens right beside 😭
