Ordered delivery from here. Our go-to lunch as the food is very yummy n good portion. However, we are very shocked to see a big piece of sharp glass chip in one of the dish! As we are not sure if there are smaller chips or not, so we threw the whole dish away. Disappointed this time 😩
Perhaps my favourite outlet when it comes to having a hearty bowl of A-One porridge. The staffs here are very welcoming and nice, we often frequent this place when my friends and I planned for meet-ups in AMK area. Usually weekday dinner time doesn't have to queue. Do try out any of the signature porridges (all's good!), and also the stir fried mee sua. Can taste the wok hey!
Settled here as the original restaurant we wanted was crowded. Overall the food was fine but can be done much better. Fried rice was very oil especially once you reach the bottom. Most likely the hotstone was coated with too much oil or when it wasnt hot enough? Noodles were alright but can be skipped. We also ordered the fried fish (forgot to take photo) and it was crispy but TOOO crispy as it dries up the meat. The rest of the food were normal. Wouldnt plan to eat here but still an option if other places are too crowded 😅
Pls do not come here to eat!!! Pathetic portion of food not worth the price. If the company dont do anything to make things better, I'm very sure they will loose even more customers. no wonder this place is so damn empty. Lousy food taste, lousy food portion ($100++), lousy service. Pls look at this funny pics!!! Broccoli with scallop but the scallop is smaller then a 1cent coin LOL. Only 5-6mini piece and they charge $14.90++ LOL. Go eat at your own risk. Dont believe those social media post. Come try and u will know for yourself 🤣🤣.
Value for money and tasty porridge. Tender pork rib king, broccoli quite soft not undercooked, scallop porridge youtiao quite fresh, horfun not bad (but a bit salty). Frog meat porridge has 3 chunks of frog meat. Hot barley not too sweet not too bland. Not even half filled on Saturday lunch, quite surprisingly. Sgd90 for a meal for 2 adults 3 children, every dish was yummy. Service staff can be more professional and not be shouting to one another. Tables and seats were clean. Overall a good spot for asian comfort food that isn't sinful. We will be back.
