Good food, good price, good ambiance. The food is really authentic Taiwanese. Their dessert is toast is super nice. Warm milk tea with ginger flavour is amazingly nice - not too sweet. This place is all about simple, enjoyable comfort food which reminds you of the times in Taiwan. Oyster mee sua and braised pork rice are more like 4 stars for me. However given the reasonable price, and enjoyable experience overall, this place deserves a 5 stars and recommendation.
Food is passable, great place to bring kids due to the lower price point. Olive fried rice was way too salty. Bubble teas not bad. Matcha toast was OK only but my kids loved it. Not a place I would come on my own but with kids who appreciate junky fried chicken and sweet bbts, this place checks the boxes.
Just adding a review, had food here a number of times. During this visit, ordered a braised pork rice, fried intestines, century egg and a honey milk tea. Everything was good. Braised pork rice not entirely my preference here but still nice. Intestines were yummy and the sauce that came with it was perfect. Century egg was probably 1 of the better ones I have had in chinese restaurants. Honey milk tea is my favourite drink here so hands down it is best for me. Can visit if you are nearby kovan mrt station and craving for taiwanese cuisine
Ordered their signature braised pork belly rice, scallion oil chicken rice, salted chicken, and milk bubble tea. We really enjoyed their pork belly and scallion chicken rice — the scallion oil was wonderfully fragrant and the chicken shreds were so tender. Portions were good and overall great value for money. The salted chicken was average. The restaurant is quite small, so there’s sometimes a bit of a wait. Will definitely return!
Tried 盐酥鸡 and winter melon drink from their food truck at Istana Open House. Prolly the worst fried chicken I had in 2026. As for the winter melon, the amount of syrup in it was unbelievable. Sincerely hope they improve the taste and quality of their food.
