In Hsinchu, we had been searching for a design style that matched our ideas and needs. We visited many companies but couldn't find one that shared our vision. Then, we visited a friend's house and were impressed by their design style. My friend strongly recommended their designer to us. During our first meeting to take measurements, we were struck by designer Hsu Wei-heng's sincere and professional attitude. Even though he was sweating profusely, he patiently and thoroughly understood our ideas, making communication very smooth. Our second meeting confirmed our desired style and needs, allowing us to choose him without hesitation. He was a world apart from the previous designers. His discussions about the decoration were meticulous, and he understood our budget, adjusting the quote to best suit our needs. Even when we had questions or he was being picky and wanted to change the design, he patiently cooperated with us. Choosing Tanghe was truly a wonderful decision for me, as a first-time homebuyer!! I spoke with 5-6 designers beforehand, including individuals with their own studios, companies without studios, chain furniture/system design firms, and large design companies. After much deliberation, I chose Designer Chen, who was willing to spend time understanding my family's and my needs and expectations for our home during our first meeting (some designers even went to my studio, only to end the meeting in less than 10 minutes after asking about the completion date of the house…😅). Our first meeting lasted almost two hours, covering many small details. Later, I learned that these questions would be incorporated into the house design!
