I was researching various options for learning web design when I came across Professor Kubo on YouTube. I was drawn to his confident speaking style and enthusiasm, and I thought, "I can do this here," which led me to enroll in his course. I took the introductory course, and honestly, at first I was worried, "Can I really learn to create designs in 45 days?" However, as I progressed through the course, I began to understand the concepts and methods of design, and I was able to create my own projects. What I particularly appreciated were the feedback sessions. Not only did I receive direct advice from a professional, but seeing my classmates' work provided many new discoveries and inspirations. I learned about areas for improvement that I hadn't noticed myself, which was very educational. Also, because I was learning alongside classmates rather than alone, I was able to maintain my motivation and continue learning until the end. Before taking the course, I lacked confidence, but now I feel, "I'm so glad I took on this challenge." I discovered the joy of web design, and it gave me the confidence that I could do it too.

I started the course with no experience in web design, and had never even used Photoshop. I'm a part-time office worker with two elementary school-aged children, so I was a little apprehensive before enrolling. The 45-day course was quite fast-paced, but once it started, I was in an environment where I had no choice but to get started. The 45 days flew by, and before I knew it, we were talking about the final assignment. What I liked about the course was the work-based curriculum and learning environment. It naturally incorporated systems designed for working as a designer after graduation, such as communication and information sharing via Chatwork, and correction sessions and team meetings via Zoom. The course style required me to research things on my own, so I feel like I developed the ability to learn independently. The hardest part was finding the time. Watching lesson videos, completing assignments, and participating in correction sessions and team meetings all took more than enough time. I think understanding and cooperation from family is essential to taking the course while working and raising children. In conclusion, I'm glad I enrolled. I can't say that I gained absolute confidence immediately after taking the course, but I have definitely acquired the basics of design and ways of thinking compared to before I took the course. I feel that this is a school where you can continue to put what you learned into practice even after graduating, which will lead to greater skills and confidence.

The 45 days went by in a flash, but it was a very fulfilling and productive time. There were also many school events, and the instructors provided careful corrections and accurate advice. I also received warm words of encouragement from the supporters, which helped me maintain my motivation until the end. I was also really impressed with how quickly Nippon Design School responded to its students. They responded quickly to any problems I had, so I felt very reassured. The team-based learning environment was also great. I felt that being in an environment where everyone could encourage each other, compete with each other, and grow together led to more growth than studying alone. Another major attraction was that the program doesn't end once you've taken the course; there is a system in place that allows you to stay connected even after you've taken it. I decided to study at Nippon Design School after seeing it on YouTube, and it was definitely the right decision.

デザスク入門編の113期を卒業しました。45日前まではデザインに関しては全くの無知で、Photoshopも触ったことがなく、パソコンすら持っていない状況でした。ですが在宅ワークをしたいという夢を叶えるため、パソコンを買うことからはじめ、仕事をしながら入門編を受講しました。 受講して良かった点は、チーム制であったこと、世の中のデザインはこういうふうにしてできているんだと学べたことです。私は朝8時から夜の11時前まで仕事で外出しながらの受講だったため、課題をこなすのも時間的にかなりキツかったですが、チームの仲間との交流があったことが、45日間頑張れた理由だと思います。そしてデザインの基本を1から学べたので、最終課題では、自分でもホームページを作ることができました。この学びを確実に仕事につなげるためにこれからもスキルアップしていきたいし、単価の高いLPも、作れるようになりたいと思います。

I started by installing Photoshop at the end of the year, started taking classes at the beginning of the new year, and completed my website 45 days later. I still can't believe it myself, but it's true. Working on assignments while working was quite difficult, but by putting myself in such a demanding environment, I was able to carve out time and make it a habit to face design every day. And the sense of accomplishment I felt when I finished my work, along with my classmates, teammates, and the instructor support, helped me to complete the 45 days. The real challenge begins after graduation, but I've discovered a new me and am looking forward to my future even more! I'm really glad I attended Desask.
