As a very analog person, it was Professor Sakata's LINE@ seminar that gave me the opportunity to try social media. I had just started using an iPhone and was still unsure about apps and downloads, but with the help of Professor Sakata and the other students, I got started. I took courses on iMovie and Clips and even tried my hand at video! I'm still just getting started, but I've got a full range of platforms: Facebook, Facebook Page, Ameblo, Twitter, Instagram, LINE@, and YouTube. I even created something to serve as a homepage using Peraichi. The seminar doesn't end there. I don't think there are many instructors who provide information to help you master the tools you need. I highly recommend it!
Yesterday's seminar was very worthwhile. The examples, such as the Google Maps commercial, made it clear why we need to implement Google Maps strategies now, and the content was motivating and easy to take action on.
