This was a beautiful location and easy stroll to the top. We were a a week late for the Fall trees but it was still beautiful.

I love this place. It's a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. I'm visited on Nov 2024 and is Autumn season. Enjoying my kimchi ramen for lunch and listening to the wind and falling leaf. I have no idea falling leaf can be that beautiful and breath taking. Highly recommended place to visit.

I visited Jangtaesan Recreational Forest, and even though the leaves haven’t started blooming yet, the place felt incredibly peaceful. What really stood out was how empty it was hardly anyone around, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. The trees are insanely tall, and just being surrounded by that quiet beauty reminded me how amazing Mother Nature is.

This place overall is a 4-star due to its inaccessibility and infrequent bus timings, but the spectacular views at the observatory places are making it up for it And I highly recommend climbing to the top of the mountain via "Jangtaesan Recreational Forest Observation Deck" - continue climbing up. The peak of Jangtaesan mountain (see my attached photos) looked absolutely breathtaking even in winter. It's not an easy path up though, so make sure you have some fitness level to climb up to the top (before sunset as the path isn't lighted).
